ROLES TO WORK WITH

Based from the result of the survey, we can easily identify specific roles taken on by students associated with the film making tabulated below:

   Director/s
The director is responsible for overseeing the creative aspects of a film, including controlling the content and flow of the film's plot, directing the performances of actors, selecting the locations in which the film will be shot, and managing technical details such as the positioning of cameras, the use of lighting, and the timing and content of the film's soundtrack.
  Producer/s
Responsible for overseeing the film and making sure everything get completed. A producer is usually an investor in the project or someone who has facilitated the funding of the project.
  Scriptwriter/s

  Actors/Actresses
Work in front of the camera
 Art Director/s
Responsible for the sets, props, costume and make-up. Also the location manager, responsible for finding and securing locations to be used for the production and coordinating the costs involved.
 Cinematographer/s
Responsible for the lighting and ensuring the wishes of the director are carried out in relation to the filming (angles, movement, shots). They also serve as production sound mixer, responsible for recording all sound during filming. This involves the choice of microphones, operation of a sound recording device, and sometimes the mixing of audio signals in real time.
 Video Editor/s
 Could a large group responsible for editing all the individual shots into scenes and then making this into a cohesive story and its finalization. Also act as visual effects supervisor is in charge of the visual effects department.
 Translator/s
They work with subtitle of the film and contacts the scriptwriter team for the final translation of the film lines from Tagalog to English. Afterwhich, they will work on the video to enter the subtitles to its appropriate segment in the film
 Web Designer/s
Plans and oversees the on-going management of a web/blogsite and the publication of content to it. This may involve writing copy from scratch, or coordinating and editing contributions, and movie on its making. They also manage a facebook group of their short films.
 Layout Artist/s
 Creating poster/tarpaulin of the film. They also give their layout/edited pictures to the web designers to be uploaded on the web.
 Sound Director/s
They gather good music, download sound effects, remixing it and to be forwarded to the video editors.

Taping department manage mainly by directors, actors/actresses and cinematographers. Video editing department runs by video editors. Art/Props department performs by art directors and always the right hand of taping department especially in the set location. Scriptwriting department manage by scriptwriters and collaborates with taping department for whatever changes/suggestions/queries on script. Bloggers Department runs a webpage/blog of the behind the scenes of the short-film and they ask for some needed pictures/videos from taping department. Subtitle Department manages by translators, they must have knowledge on software that ease the insertion of subtitles in the film, they ask for the final Tagalog script to translate it to English, or at times they work on the translation of adlibs that are not written on the script. Sound Department are for the sound directors where they gather all music and sound effects to submit it to the video editing department. Layout Department are for the layout artists, they cooperate with taping department for needed pictures, they prepare posters of the film for marketing purposes or they give their work of art to the bloggers department. Lastly, the Finance department manages by the tapped producers, they act like investors, budgeting the amount what they have collected and they finance other departments on what they need.
